John has just joined groSolar, a premier distributor, installer and integrator of solar energy solutions. In his new position he is responsible for all training initiatives to support a national dealer/ distributor sales & service network, and for internal employee development.

Most recently John was affiliated with the Tupelo Group, LLC based in Burlington, VT. As an independent consultant/ trainer he specializes in:

Process mapping and analysis
Leadership and Supervisory training
Designing competency-based training programs
Aligning strategic objectives with training goals
Creating e-Learning and blended training strategies that deliver results

Drawing upon adult learning techniques and leveraging technology, his prior work at Minolta Corporation earned his team national recognition as an industry best practice.  His collaboration effort with Minolta Japan led to implementing a worldwide competency-based technical training program which continues to set the standard today.

John holds a B.S. in Management, and is a Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence. When not working in business circles he can be found running marathons or climbing mountains around the world. At home he volunteers at the local food shelf program and enjoys farming with his wife Mary Ann.
